BRTC Jasmine Water BB Cream

I just recently started using this bb cream, but from my experience so far, it seems to be great for colder months when my skin is drier than usual. I've actually tried a sample of this product before and really liked it. So I was very happy when I received a full sized product to review from BNT News!

According to my research Jasmine Water BB Cream is one of the most popular products from BRTC. It has received 53 reviews on makeupalley, while most BRTC products have under 10 reviews and many are not even reviewed at all.

+ a few people commented my last post saying they have tried it too. So that should prove my point, right?

BRTC describes this product as brightening, moisturizing & soothing bb cream for dry and sensitive skin. It contains functional ingredients for whitening, wrinkle improvement & UV blocking.

Blue Phyto Complex - BRTC's proprietary ingredient with lavender water soothes discomfort caused by dryness, maintains skin’s moisture and elasticity.

Optimal Cover RXBRTC's proprietary ingredient that soothes and repairs skin damage, helps skin heal quickly without noticeable scarring.

The bb cream has been around for a while, however BRTC has definitely updated it's formula. The English ingredient list I found onlne didn't really match the one they have in Korean on their webpage now. So here's the updated ingredient list for the product:

BRTC Jasmine Water BB Cream ingredients
Water, Propylene Glycol, Titanium Dioxide, Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone, Jasmine Flower Water, Talc, Sweet Almond Oil, Isopropyl Palmitate, Hydrogenated C6-14 Olefin Polymers, Hexyldecyl Myristoyl Methylaminopropionate, Butylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Dipentaerythrityl Hexahydroxystearate/Hexastearate/Hexarosinate, Arbutin, Zinc Oxide, Magnesium Sulfate, Polyglyceryl-4 Isostearate, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Lavender Water, Borage Extract, Chamomile Flower/Leaf Extract, Clary Extract, Hyacinth Extract, Cornflower Flower Extract, Green Tea Extract, Madecassoside, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Birch Water, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Trihydroxystearin, Phenyl Trimethicone, Glycosyl Trehalose, Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate, Silica, Aluminum Hydroxide, Aluminum Stearate, Adenosine, Glycerin, Propanediol, Benzyl Alcohol, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Methyl Paraben, Propyl Paraben, Butyl Paraben, Yellow Iron Oxide, Red Iron Oxide, Black Iron Oxide.
Jasmine Flower Water provides instant hydration for thirsty skin, soothes irritated skin.

Lavender Water has a lot of good qualities such as being anti-allergenic, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antibacterial, antispasmodic, balancing, energising, soothing, healing, toning and stimulating.

Adenosine is a good anti-inflammatory ingredient, functions as a cell-communicating ingredient that supports healthy cellular activity.

Aloe Wera Leaf Juice can soothe skin and serves as an anti-inflammatory ingredient.

So the list is pretty long since there are lots of interesting ingredients in this product. For a better overview see the updated ingredient list on CosDNA. :)

The bb cream comes in one shade which is quite light and more pinkish compared to my Bourjois and MAC foundations. The color might look too light for me here, but in reality it isn't. Here's what it looks like when blended properly:

The color isn't as light and unnatural anymore - I guess that's what they mean by it adapting to skin tone. It still looks a bit pinkish, though.

In my opinion, it provides a medium coverage. It evens out my skin tone and gives a natural, airbrushed finish. I've been using my Klairs concealer underneath, but my skin's condition has been very good lately so there's not much need for that.

The consistency feels great. It comes out thick but spreads easily to a slightly dewy finish and doesn't dry out my skin. It's scent is also very nice.

Lastly, this bb cream has SPF 30.

In conclusion would recommend this product! Especially if you are looking for a bb cream that is also moisturizing and soothing. :)

Where to buy?
The bb cream comes in two sizes: 35g & 60g. I have the smaller 35g one, however the 60g version usually has a better price.

Purchase 60g for $25.40 on Ebay.

Have you ever tried this bb cream? Or would you like to try it?
