BRTC Jasmine Waterful Sleeping Pack

BRTC Jasmine Waterful Sleeping Pack

To be honest, I've never tried a sleeping pack before, so the whole concept of sleeping packs is new to me. 'Is it a face mask or a night cream?' I wondered. Well, turns out it's like a mixture of both!

"Sleeping pack" is basically a wash-off face mask that you apply before you go to sleep and wash off in the morning. The consistency is quite similar to a face cream, but it's a bit heavier, so it doesn't absorb into skin completely, but highly moisturizes your skin during night.

BRTC Jasmine Waterful Sleeping Pack (50ml) is a 'water drop' type sleeping pack, which means it will literally turn into water droplets on skin. It's a dual functional skincare for whitening and wrinkle improvement. It includes BRTC-exclusive patented ingredients of Blue Phyto Complex & Jasmine Flower Water which help with soothing, bursts with moist when rubbed, recharge and vitalize exhausted skin. Lastly, it has a subtle jasmine aroma that has a calming effect, improving sleeping quality.

Blue Phyto Complex - BRTC's proprietary ingredient with lavender water soothes discomfort caused by dryness, maintains skin’s moisture and elasticity.

Puruple Vigor Complex - BRTC's proprietary ingredient infused with the energy of purple plants repairs damaged skin.

I was quite dissapointed that I couldn't find the ingredient list in English, so I translated it from Korean. (Obsessed much, but I was curious!)

BRTC Jasmine Waterful Sleeping Pack Ingredients
Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Glycerin, Dimethicone, Niacinamide, Dimethicone / Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Sodium Hyaluronate, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Ethyl hydroxyethyl cellulose, Adenosine, Disodium EDTA, Allantoin, Betaine, Xylitol, Jasmine Flower Water, Cornflower Flower Extract, Borage Extract, Chamomile Flower/Leaf Extract, Lavender Water, Hyacinth Extract, Clary Extract, Grape Extract, Eggplant Extract, Lilac Extract, Violet Extract, Gardenia Extract, Jasmine Flower Extract, Peppermint Extract, Chamomile Flower Extract, Rosemary Flower Extract, Lavender Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Methyl Paraben.
Jasmine Flower Water provides instant hydration for thirsty skin, soothes irritated skin.

Lavender Water has a lot of good qualities such as being anti-allergenic, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antibacterial, antispasmodic, balancing, energising, soothing, healing, toning and stimulating.

Niacinamide can improve skin’s elasticity, dramatically enhance its barrier function, help erase discolorations and revive skin’s healthy tone and texture.

Adenosine is a good anti-inflammatory ingredient, functions as a cell-communicating ingredient that supports healthy cellular activity.

I'm most impressed by it's high niacinamide consistency and the fact that it doesn't include butylene glycol. For more information about the ingredients visit CosDNA. (I actually saved the list there since it gave me a better overview in general.)

PS! In my opinion the ingredient list of this sleeping pack looks way more appealing than the super popular Laneige one. What do you think?

The product comes in a lavender purple plastic tub that looks kind of cheap, to be honest. It doesn't nessesarily look bad, but in my opinion, it doesn't really match the product's price tag either (which is $30 for 50ml). It is very lightweight, though, so maybe that's why they chose to go with plastic.

The texts on the cap says Bio Remedies Therapeutic Cosmetics, which is what BRTC stands for. That being said, it’s the usual twist-open cap tub that comes with a white spatula for a more hygienic product usage.

It has a wonderful jasmine scent that's pretty strong, but not too overwhelming. I'm not sure if it has actually improved my sleeping quality, though. Maybe it does help, I can't really tell. Either way the scent is nice! :)

It's texture is rather lightweight & liquidy. It spreads easily on skin and does turn into small water droplets when massaged. It's feels very soothing and hydrating, but can leave a bit of a sticky residue which you wash off in the morning.

Since it's my first time using a sleeping pack, I can't really compare the performance to another brand, but I do think it's much more effective than a regular face cream. My skin feels very smooth and firm in the morning. I really like the idea of waking up to pampered skin, so I'm quite impressed with this sleeping pack! :)

In conclusion, BRTC Jasmine Waterful Sleeping Pack is a great product. It's ingredient list & the results it gave me are both amazing. However, I'm also curious to try some other brands for comparison.

All-in-all, I highly recommend giving sleeping packs a try! Especially since winter is approaching & your skin might need some extra moisture.

Where to buy?
Products from BRTC are rather hard to find online. Although, this is my second time trying their products and they seem like a decent brand overall. This sleeping pack is available on Ebay for $30.

This product was sent to me on review purpose by BNT NewsAlong with the sleeping pack I also received BRTC's Jasmine Water BB Cream to try & i will post a full review on it soon. For more information about BRTC & their products visit their website
