Comparing My BB Creams, Foundations & Cushions + Swatches!

Today I'm giving you a comparative overview of all my current BB creams, foundations & cushions that I use. When I posted a photo of them on my instagram, I said that I can't pick a favourite. However, I do know which one I use most often! So...Can you guess which one it is!? Actually, my IG also has a spoiler for this one, so you might know already.

Anyway, my skin is quite pale, so these are all light shades. Seeing how NW15 looks a bit orange on me, I'm guessing my skin is actually closest to NC15. Although, MAC shades can be a bit different depending on a foundation.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation $15 / 30ml / $50 per 100 ml

I've been using & repurchasing this foundation for a long time. I have it in shade 51 Light Vanilla which  goes well with my skin tone & I prefer it to cheaper drugstore foundations. It has a lightweight texture, however it's thicker than my MAC Waterweight Foundation. It's coverage is light to medium. Lastly, it creates a radiant, glowy & luminous finish.

Mac Studio Waterweight Foundation $33 / 30ml / $110 per 100 ml

I have it in NW15, so it has a warm undertone and looks a bit more orange than Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation. It has a runny texture that never appears cakey, light to medium coverage & a dewy finish. I don't personally like the dropper applicator that much, but I do like it's lightweight formula. 3CE Fitting Cushion Foundation - 39,000 won (~$33) / 12g + refill 12g (24g) / $137 per 100g.

This foundation is amazing. It comes in 2 shades & I have the lightest one #001. It has a high coverage, but it's formula is actually very lightweight, thin & liquidy like my MAC foundation. It's longwearing and leaves my skin radiant, dewy and glowing. (Read full review.)

BRTC Jasmine Water BB Cream - $25 / 60
g / about $42 per 100ml.

(NB! I have a smaller 35g version, however the 60g version usually has a better price, so I used that for calculation.)

This bb cream comes in one shade which is quite light & has a pink undertone. It's texture is thick, but it spreads quite easily & feels moisturizing. It has a medium coverage and a slightly dewy finish. (Read full review.)

Klairs Illuminating Supple BB Cream - $24.99 / 40ml / $62 per 100 ml.

This one comes in one neutral shade which is probably closest to NC15. It has a light coverage & looks very natural, so I think it would fit anyone between N15-25. It's a great product for a quick & light makeup look. (Read full review.)

The ones that match my skin tone the best are: Klairs BB Cream, Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation & 3CE Fitting Cushion Foundation.

If I had to pick a favourite, it's probably the 3CE Cushion Foundation! It has a great covarage & it matches my skin tone very well. What is more it's also the most comfortable to use & reapply. Unfortunately it's also the most expensive one!

Have you tried any of these? Which one are you most interested in?

    1. Do you also like the coverage? I think it's good, but my 3CE cushion has very similar formula, but even better coverage. :D So I like it better. :)

  2. I am jealous of your skin tone and that you can use lots of Korean bb creams and bases! I really liked the Klairs BB cream texture and hydration and I saw videos of the 3CE cushions- the coverage really does look amazing!

And I have seen so many girls rave about the Bourjois foundation. In Australia it costs around $30 and for some reason the brand never goes on sale :(. I think I'll have to bite the bullet and get it though!

    1. It's quite weird how Korean bb creams often come in one shade only! :( I think you should try the Bourjois foundation, though! It's not labelled as bb cream, but it feels quite similar! $30 does sound a bit expensive, but I guess it's ok compared to other prices there? :D

  3. Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation is by far my most favorite foundation. Doesn't break me out, and has nice smell :)

    1. I agree. I just wish it was a bit thinner like my MAC foundation. :D
