Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop

Did you know that vitamin C is considered to be one of the most important ingredients you need in your skin care?

Why? Because it's whitening effect helps to even out skin tone and is great for fading post acne scars, sun spots and hyperpigmentation.

Sounds intriguing? Today I am reviewing this Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop that among everything else contains 5% of pure vitamin C.

Description: Skin repairing Vitamin Drop is a revolutionary antioxidant treatment serum. L-Ascorbic Acid helps to protect skin from UV damage while fighting free radicals, stimulating collagen production and improving skin's tone and texture.
Ingredients: Water, Propylen Glycol, Ascorbic Acid(5%), Hydroxyethylcellulose, Centella Asiatica Extract, Citrus Junos (Yuzu) Fruit Extract, Illicium Verum (Anise) Fruit Extract, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Fruit Extract, Nelumbium Speciosum Flower Extract, Paeonia Suffruticosa Root Extract, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Polysorbate 60, Brassica Oleracea Italica (Broccoli) Extract, Chaenomeles Sinensis Fruit Extract, Orange Oil Brazil, Sodium Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Disodium EDTA, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Camellia Sinensis Callus Culture Extract, Larix Europaea Wood Extract, Chrysanthellum Indicum Extract, Rheum Palmatum Root Extract, Asarum Sieboldi Root Extract, Quercus Mongolia Leaf Extract, Persicaria Hydropiper Extract, Corydalis Turtschaninovii Root Extract, Coptis Chinensis Root Extract, Magnolia Obovata Bark Extract, Lysine HCL, Proline, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Acetyl Methionine, Theanine, Lecithin, Acetyl Glutamine,SH-Olgopeptide-1, SH-Olgopeptide-2, SH-Polypeptide-1, SH-Polypeptide-9, SH-Polypeptide-11, Bacillus/Soybean/Folic Acid Ferment Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Caprylyl Glycol, Butylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol. Apart from vitamin C, this serum also contains many other notable skin care ingredients such as:

Centella Asiatica Extract - has antiviral, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties and has traditionally been used as a treatment for skin.

Yuzu Extract - has naturally energizing, toning and brightening properties.

Grapefruit Extract - is rich in antioxidants and vitamins, can provide an array of anti-aging benefits like evening skin tone and fighting off free radicals.

Texture: This serum actually has an oily texture, since it also contains lavender and orange oil. However, it absorbs into skin surprisingly fast. It's also very easy to spread and leaves a beautiful glow on my skin.

Scent: It doesn't have a significant scent. In fact the only fragrance used in this product is natural fruit extracts & oils. It's scent actually reminds me of fresh oranges. Of course, it's probably mixed with several natural scents, but overall the scent is still very mild & hardly noticeable.

Performance: I've only started using it recently, but I can actually see and feel the results already. Ever since I finished my propolis ampoule I felt like my skin was missing something. And although these two serums have completely different ingredients, I feel like this vitamin drop serum actually replaces my propolis serum very well! I guess that's because the ingredients perform somewhat alike.

So overall I'm very pleased with the effectiveness of this serum - it definitely helps to heal & fade imperfections as well as eliminate fine lines and makes my skin feel softer and more radiant.

It's consistency of pure vitamin C is only 5%, however this serum contains so many other beneficial ingredients. What is more, grapefruit and yuzu fruit extracts are also rich in vitamin C. In conclusion, I think I actually like this vitamin drop serum a bit more than the C20 Pure Vitamin C21,5 serum I reviewed earlier this year. Simply because of all the glorious plant extracts.

Where to buy?
You can purchase this vitamin c serum from Amazon for $29.
