White Cat Super Berry Silky Eye Balm

The eye area is one of the first areas of face to show signs of aging. Eyes are also the first feature to get noticed by others, which is why eye care should be an important step in any skin care regimen.

Because of my eye shape I have always had fine lines under my eyes for as long as I can remember. While it doesn't always bother me, they do tend to stand out after applying makeup, especially when I apply shimmering eyeshadows, so I'm definitely interested in a product that could lessen the appearance of fine lines. Luckily, BNT news sent me an eye balm that promises to do exactly that! Let me tell you more about it.

White Cat Super Berry Silky Eye Balm functions as an eye primer and moisturizer. It is especially designed to reduce the appearance of fine lines instantly and actually has a MFDS (Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, formerly known as KFDA) certificate for it's anti-wrinkle function.

Full ingredient list: Caprylic/ Capric Triglyceride, Hydrogenated Polydecene, Dimethicone, Butylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Silica, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Sorbitan Olivate, Ceresin, Beeswax, Phenyl Trimethicone, Trimethylpentanediol/Adipic Acid/Glycerin Crosspolymer, Squalane, Titanium Dioxide, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Mica, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Adenosine, Lycium Chinese Fruit Extract, Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Fruit Extract, Rubus Fruticosus (Blackberry) Fruit Extract, Fragaria Chiloensis (Strawberry) Fruit Extract, Euterpe Oleracea Fruit Extract, Morus Nigra Fruit Extract, Vaccinium Myrtillus Fruit Extract, Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Fruit Extract, Ribes Nigrum (Black Currant) Fruit Extract, Vaccinium Angustifolium (Blueberry) Fruit Extract. The main ingredient of this balm is Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride which is a glyceride derived from coconut oil. It’s considered to be an excellent emollient and skin-repairing ingredient.

It also includes other skin beneficial ingredients such as squalane, beeswax & adenosine.

Lastly, there are lots of fruit & berry extracts in this balm.

It looks similar to a lip balm, but actually has a creamy texture. While I'm not sure whether this balm also provides long-term wrinkle improvement, I can say that it has an effective short-term effect. It fills in fine lines under my eyes and makes them a lot less noticeable immediately. Of course, it doesn't erase them completely, but I think that would be impossible (at least without botox) anyway.

This balm can also be used on other parts of your face. I noticed that it can reduce oily shine and mattify skin. I don't actually have oily skin, but I applied it after Yeblang Special A Star Jelly Cream, which takes time to absorb, and noticed that this balm instantly reduced the shiny sheen left on my skin.

In conclusion, I loved using this eye balm before applying my foundation and concealer, so I will probably continue using it now after I've finished testing it for this review.

Where to buy?

As of now, Skin18 seems to be the only place selling it. You can purchase it for $24 here.

  1. I haven't ever used this, but it's definitely something I could see myself using. My biggest problem is with eye bags because of lack of sleep.
