MASK MONDAY: Skin18 Face Mask Roundup + My Top 5!

In case you haven't noticed, I've been masking quite regularly lately, doing 1-3 masks a week. This is a huge improvement compared to me doing 2-3 odd masks a year. I kind of promised myself to finally get in on the sheet mask trend in 2016 and it looks like I have managed to keep that promise. In fact, I've tried 16 different facial masks from Skin18 recently and here's my roundup on them.

Four Seasons Masks

Price: $0.95 Repurchase? Yes.

I tried all 6 masks from Four Season's sheet mask line and the one that stood out the most to me, was Multi Vita. My skin truly looked radiant even the next day after using it. So this is something I'd definitely like to repurchase. I also liked the Aloe mask, which felt very refreshing and soothing. However, these masks were all decent considering their price.

Beaubeaute Collagen Extracts Hydrogel Essence Beauty Mask

Price: $4.50 Repurchase? Yes.

This was probably my favourite out of the 16 masks I tried. It was packed with herbal extracts, adhered to my skin so well and pretty much felt like a second skin. It had a pleasant scent and made my skin more supple, refreshed and moist. It's also alcohol-free.

Foodaholic 4D Skinny Fit Salmon Roe Mask

Price: $3.30 Repurchase? No.

I liked the 4D design and it also stayed moist for a while, however I personally didn't like it's scent, so I wouldn't repurchase this particular flavour. And no, it didn't have a salmon scent, but one that reminded me of men's shower gel or soap.

Soc 3D Rice Wine Beauty Serum Mask Pack

Price: $1 Repurchase? Yes.

This rice wine mask was super soothing, hydrating and left my skin plumped. I was also impressed by how cheap it is. It's definitely a "best value for the price" type of mask.

Laffair AQUA 3 Step Skin Renewal Mask

Price: $2.20 Repurchase? No.

Although the mask itself was great, it came with a high pH cleanser. I don't think I want to pay extra for something that goes straight into the recycling bin, so I wouldn't personally repurchase.

LomiLomi Skin Scheduler Acerola Mask

Price: $3.50 Repurchase? Yes

This mask was loaded with hydration! It had a creamy finish that took some time to absorb, so it might not work for all skin types, but I personally loved it.

Luke Lemon Tea Tree Nose Cleansing Strips

Price: $0.65 Repurchase? No.

Didn't work for me, also had an odd scent. Wouldn't repurchase. I've also lost interest in nose strips after reading that they can be harmful to your skin.

Luke Hydrogel Eye Patches

Price: $1.40 Repurchase? No.

Not the most comfortable eye patches. It would be ok, if they were the cheapest option available, but you can actually get 30 pairs of hydrogel patches for $10 at Ebay, so no I see no reason to repurchase the Luke ones.

Beauty Friends II Essence Mask Sheet Packs

Price: $0.80 Repurchase? Maybe.

These weren't the most moisturizing masks I've tried, but they do deserve some credit for leaving no sticky residue.

  2. So many masks!
I'm so eager to get trying some of these sheet masks when I get the chance!
It's great to see an overview of the brands and the lines of their products! The repurchase thing is important as if you know a blogger wouldn't buy it again, it probably isn't going to be worth spending your money on!
I haven't done well with getting through my collection of sheet masks but I hope to properly start this week so I can actually get some reviewed properly!

    2. I haven't got it yet D: I'm waiting on the order to be made and that! Apparently they've had a massive increase of people wanting to take part in the reviewer program so it's taking a long time for them to get through everyone!
