The majority of us want to be able to wow in the kitchen, but it’s certainly easier said than done. It seems like some people have a natural flair for cooking and whist that is true, you can still become an absolute culinary genius if you practise enough.
Being a great chef takes time, commitment and most importantly - patience. The best didn’t become as good as they are by merely trying each dish once. You’ll find that the more you practice and experiment with different flavours, the far better you’ll become.
Of course, you need to learn the basics first: like which spices and herbs to use with certain foods and how to cook a steak properly, but if you want to take your cooking to the next level or impress some dinner guests with high expectations, try installing one (or all) of these tools below...
1. Slow CookerIf you’re a casserole person then you desperately need a slow cooker in your life. And even if you’re not, you would still benefit from having a slow cooker because the tender, succulent meat you’ll get from one of these won’t compare to anything else you’ll ever make. You can prepare an entire stew the night before and then come home after a long day at work to your favourite veggies and flavour. For an amazing bbq chicken dinner recipe, check out a post here.
